Most camps don't need fixed dates

Most Thai camps let you arrive any day and pay by the day, week or month. If your dates are flexible, compare camps' own prices in the camp finder, the beginner camps guide or Muay Thai in Thailand from the UK. January deals and what VAT and rooms add: camp deals for January 2027.

Before you pay a deposit

Fixed-date camps and retreats usually ask for a deposit. Get the cancellation and date-change terms in writing first, and pay by card where you can. Powerhouse Phuket's policies page, for example, says bookings aren't refunded but dates can change if there is space (read 3 Nov 2026). Muay Thai Atlas never takes deposits or payments.

Who holds your money?

You pay the camp directly. Muay Thai Atlas never takes deposits or payments.

Ask the camp in writing how much, when, and whether it’s refundable.

If you book through an agent or booking site, that site takes the payment. Read its own payment and refund terms first.

Do Thai Muay Thai camps have fixed start dates?

Most don't. Most camps in Thailand take you on any day and sell training by the day, week or month. A few run fixed-date fight camps, courses and retreats: this page lists the ones that print 2027 dates on their own sites.

How much is a fixed-date fight camp?

Each camp sets its own price. For example, Powerhouse Phuket prints ฿46,800 for its 4-week Future Champs Fight Camp, with a single room and 2 meals a day (read 3 Nov 2026). Each row has the price as printed and the date we read it.

Why isn't my favourite camp here?

Because it doesn't print fixed 2027 dates on its own site yet (we read about 170 camp sites on 3 Nov 2026). Most camps take arrivals any day: use the camp finder.

Can I book through Muay Thai Atlas?

No. You book with the camp or organiser on its own site. Muay Thai Atlas never takes deposits or payments.

I run a camp. How do I get my 2027 dates listed?
