How to apply, step by step
- Pick a camp and get its written confirmation of your training dates and fees.
- Get a police clearance certificate (within six months of applying).
- Gather bank statements showing at least £12,000 (500,000 THB).
- Apply online on the official Thai e-Visa site, thaievisa.go.th, choosing the London embassy if you live in its area. Don't pay third-party sites that look official.
- Pay the fee (£300 on the London page).
- Wait for the decision before paying non-refundable camp fees, or read the camp's refund terms first.
Getting the camp letter
Our DTV camps list (camps' own pages, read 1 Nov 2026) shows 15 camps whose own pages say they give the letter or documents: Samart Payakaroon Gym, Tiger Eye Muay Thai & MMA (Bangkok); Singpatong Sitnumnoi (Petchnumnoi), Lions MMA Club Phuket, Phuket King Muay Thai, Naka Muay Thai, Mai Karon (Phuket); The Camp Muay Thai Resort & Academy, Muay Thai Fever, Wildcat Muay Thai (Chiang Mai); Chor Ratchawat Muay Thai (Koh Samui); Martial Arts Academy (MAA), Chinnarach Muay Thai (Koh Phangan); Connoway Muay Thai (Rayong); Gumpun Muay Thai Academy (Khon Kaen). 8 more say they help. Not listed doesn't mean a camp won't do it: ask.
Some camps tie the letter to a long package (Chor Ratchawat's page says a 6-month package comes with the enrolment letter; Chinnarach's says paperwork follows 6 months of paid training). Read the camp's refund terms before you pay.
What we won't tell you
We don't say whether you'll be approved, how long it takes, or how to word anything. The embassy decides. Not legal or immigration advice. Thai immigration decides.
Who holds your money?
You pay the camp directly. Muay Thai Atlas never takes deposits or payments.
Ask the camp in writing how much, when, and whether it’s refundable.
If you book through an agent or booking site, that site takes the payment. Read its own payment and refund terms first.
