Booked a camp through BookMartialArts?

You can still train. Here are the facts, with sources, and the free steps to take, in order. Nothing here costs money.

Muay Thai Atlas never takes deposits or payments. We never hold anyone's money, so we can't refund a platform deposit; we can show you where to ask.

The facts

What to do, in order

  1. Write to your camp. Ask if your dates still stand and what they received from the platform.
  2. Ask your bank or card provider. A chargeback is not a legal right but banks often try one. Section 75 can apply to some UK credit card payments over £100. PayPal and travel insurance have their own routes. See Citizens Advice.
  3. File a free creditor claim with the trustee on ClaimsAgent (search "Tripaneer B.V. (F.13/26/306)").
  4. If your bank says no, you can complain to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
  5. Watch for scams. Nobody legitimate will ask you for a fee to get your money back.

Still want to train?

Every camp in our camp finder shows its own printed price and the date we read it. You book the camp directly.

UK passport holders can stay up to 30 days visa-exempt from 15 Sep 2026, tourism only (GOV.UK).

What happened to BookMartialArts?

BookMartialArts merged into tripaneer.com in March 2023 (the old address redirects there from 8 Mar 2023). Tripaneer B.V. was declared bankrupt on 30 Sep 2026 by the District Court of Amsterdam, case F.13/26/306 (ClaimsAgent, read 31 Oct 2026).

Is my camp booking still valid?

Ask the camp directly, in writing. If you paid a deposit through the platform, the camp may have received nothing; that money is most likely a claim against the bankrupt company.

What is the best alternative to BookMartialArts?

Book the camp directly, on its own site or by email, so your money goes to the people who will train you. Our camp finder shows each camp's own printed price and the date we read it. Muay Thai Atlas never takes deposits or payments. If you use another booking site, check who holds your deposit and its refund terms before you pay.

Can I get my deposit back?

Possibly, through your card provider (chargeback, or Section 75 for some UK credit card payments), PayPal, or travel insurance, and by filing a free creditor claim with the trustee on ClaimsAgent. The free kit walks through each step.
