Key facts:

• Spirit of Siam: training plus accommodation ฿14,000 a month with one class a day, ฿18,000 unlimited. Private air-conditioned rooms next to the gym.
• Santai: on-site homestay (Baan Nak Muay) with training, ฿14,000 a month with a fan, ฿16,000 with air conditioning. Training is twice a day, Monday to Saturday. No food provided.
• Manop: on-site rooms ฿4,000 to ฿5,000 a month, plus a ฿10,000 training month.
• Loong: room ฿2,000 a month per person with a fan, ฿3,500 with air conditioning, plus ฿9,000 for twice-daily training. Electricity is extra and a ฿2,000 deposit is due on check-in.
• Tiger Muay Thai Chiang Mai: deluxe air-conditioned room ฿31,000 a month for one person, plus ฿16,300 for the standard training month. 7% VAT is not included.

Added together, the separate prices run from ฿11,000 at Loong with a fan room to ฿47,300 before VAT at Tiger Muay Thai Chiang Mai. That spread is the difference between a basic room and a deluxe one with a pool, not a judgement on the coaching.

What a room includes

Spirit of Siam describes private rooms for up to two guests with air conditioning, fridge, TV, microwave and Wi-Fi, next to the gym. Santai's Baan Nak Muay homestay is next to the gym and has eight rooms with a double bed, private bathroom with hot shower, and fan or air conditioning. Santai's page also lists other guest houses near the gym at different prices.

Manop lists big, medium and small on-site rooms by the month, and off-site rooms with a private or shared bathroom. Loong's rooms have two single beds, a private bathroom, fan or air conditioning, a fridge and shared washing machines. Tiger Muay Thai Chiang Mai's deluxe room includes pool and weight-room access, with a breakfast option at ฿37,000 a month.

Food, transfers and the bill beside the room

Santai says plainly that it does not provide food. Loong lists two meals a day at ฿150 per person. Santai and Loong both list a ฿500 pick-up from the city, airport or stations. Tiger Muay Thai Chiang Mai prices its rooms per person and per two people, so a couple should read the two-person row.

We did not stay at these gyms or re-read cancellation terms. The gym's checkout on the day you pay is the price that counts.

A month and the visa

Most of these prices are for a month. GOV.UK, re-read 22 Oct 2026, says the visa exemption is up to 30 days for tourism only. A month-long stay can overrun that. Read the visa guide before you pay for a month that is longer than your permission to stay.
